Rubber EPDM sheets - UV stable
Our EPDM rubber sheets are very resistant to weather conditions, ozone, brake fluids, hot water, even in the long term.
We produce rubber plates as standard in a thickness of 2-30 mm in small formats up to 35 cm, or in medium formats of 500x500 mm in thicknesses of 10-100 mm or in large formats of 1000x1200 mm in thicknesses of 5-50 mm from EPDM material in black color and hardness of 60°ShA and version hard 80°ShA.
What is EPDM material?
EPDM material (ethylene propylene diene monomer) is a synthetic rubber material that is used in many industries for its exceptional properties. This elastomeric material has several key properties that make it popular in the manufacture of seals, hoses, insulation and other products:
- resistance of the EPDM material to UV radiation: EPDM resists the action of ultraviolet radiation, which makes it a suitable material for outdoor applications.
- resistance to ozone: It is resistant to the action of ozone, which improves its durability in outdoor environments.
- high temperature resistance: EPDM material can withstand high temperatures up to 120°C, making it a suitable material for various thermal applications.
- low gas permeability: EPDM has a low gas permeability, which makes it a suitable material for the manufacture of gaskets.
- chemical resistance: EPDM is resistant to many chemicals, making it a suitable material for gaskets and hoses where it may be exposed to chemicals.
- weather resistance: EPDM is resistant to extreme weather conditions, making it a suitable material for outdoor applications.
